Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) and Delightful Services LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a licensed general contractor operating in the State of Georgia.

By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

Services Provided

Delightful Services provides general contracting, construction, home renovation, remodeling, accessibility modifications, and related services throughout the State of Georgia. Our services include, but are not limited to:

Home renovation & remodeling
Kitchen & bathroom construction
ADA compliance & accessibility
FlexStep platform lift installation
Stair lift installation
Walk-in tub installation
Wheelchair ramp construction
Vertical platform lifts
Interior design services
Commercial construction

All services are subject to availability, feasibility assessment, and mutual agreement on scope and pricing.

Estimates & Quotes

  • All estimates provided by Delightful Services are free of charge and carry no obligation
  • Estimates are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing
  • Final project costs may vary from the initial estimate based on unforeseen conditions, changes in scope, material price fluctuations, or client-requested modifications
  • Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties before additional work begins
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the project scope changes materially after the initial assessment

Payment Terms

  • Payment schedules will be outlined in the project contract or proposal agreed upon by both parties
  • We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and financing options as specified in our proposal
  • A deposit may be required before work commences, as outlined in the project agreement
  • Progress payments may be required at defined project milestones
  • Final payment is due upon project completion and client walkthrough approval
  • Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance after 30 days
  • Failure to make timely payments may result in work stoppage until the account is brought current

Project Timeline & Scheduling

  • Estimated project timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed
  • Timelines may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, permit processing, inspection schedules, or unforeseen structural conditions
  • We will communicate any significant delays promptly and work to minimize impact on the project schedule
  • Client-caused delays (e.g., late decisions, access restrictions, scope changes) may extend the timeline and potentially affect pricing
  • Delightful Services is not responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers, subcontractors, or government agencies

Warranties & Workmanship

🛡️Our Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. Delightful Services provides a workmanship warranty on all completed projects as specified in your individual project contract.

  • Workmanship warranty terms will be specified in your project contract
  • Manufacturer warranties on materials and equipment are separate from our workmanship warranty and are subject to the manufacturer's terms
  • Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear
  • Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to info@delightfulservices.com
  • We will inspect and address valid warranty claims within a reasonable timeframe

Permits & Inspections

  • Delightful Services will obtain all necessary building permits required for your project, unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Permit fees are typically included in the project estimate but may be listed separately
  • We coordinate all required inspections with local building authorities
  • The client is responsible for providing accurate information about property boundaries, existing utilities, HOA requirements, and any known restrictions
  • Additional costs arising from code compliance requirements discovered during construction will be communicated and documented via change order

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide reasonable access to the project site during scheduled work hours
  • Ensure the work area is clear of personal belongings and hazards before work begins
  • Make timely decisions on materials, finishes, and design selections to avoid project delays
  • Communicate any concerns or issues promptly to your assigned project manager
  • Obtain any necessary HOA approvals or neighbor notifications as required
  • Secure pets and ensure the safety of household members during active construction

Cancellation & Termination

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice as outlined in the project contract
  • If the client cancels after work has commenced, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed, materials ordered, and any restocking or cancellation fees from suppliers
  • Deposits may be non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has begun, as specified in the project agreement
  • Delightful Services reserves the right to terminate a project if the work environment becomes unsafe, if payment terms are not met, or in the event of breach of these Terms
  • Upon termination, all completed work and materials on-site remain the property of the client, provided all payments for said work and materials are current

Limitation of Liability

  • Delightful Services' total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total contract price for the specific project in question
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing structural issues, hidden damage, or conditions that were not visible or known prior to the start of work
  • Client acknowledges that construction activities may cause temporary inconveniences including noise, dust, and limited access to certain areas
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, material shortages) that prevent or delay performance are not considered a breach of these Terms

SMS Messaging Terms

  • Message frequency varies based on your interactions with our business
  • Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan
  • You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any message
  • Reply “HELP” for assistance
  • We will not send marketing or promotional messages without your explicit consent
  • Your opt-in data and consent records will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes
  • Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most regional carriers
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Delightful Services website — including text, images, logos, designs, and graphics — is the property of Delightful Services LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission
  • Project photos taken by Delightful Services may be used in our marketing materials, portfolio, and website unless the client opts out in writing

Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties
  • If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through mediation in the State of Georgia
  • If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association
  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia
  • The prevailing party in any dispute resolution proceeding shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs
